Out of Town
Acting is a way of life for Rhys Davies. He always tries to introduce some sort of performance into his everyday life; it keeps his skills sharp while improving his ability to improvise. He started his training late at the age of 15, but by the time he was 16 he had already secured his first lead role in “A midsummer Nights Dream” by William Shakespeare. His next lead role came at age 17 during the play “Mad Forest” by Caryl Churchill. Recently Rhys had found himself pushing his career into the TV and film industry. He gained valuable experience as an extra in a music video for “Ryat” directed by Damien Giglietta. He then featured in a short film “Hot Froth” directed by Bruce Culverwell. Rhys Davies is quick to learn, easy to work with, excellent at taking direction and always a pleasure to have on set. His recent training will see him in an New Face Talent Academy showcase and hopefully soon, a showcase in Los Angeles.
