A confident, committed and smart yet bubbly performer, Allegra is a natural entertainer who has been cast as everything from Mary Poppins to Medea. Perth born and raised, she has performed with many industry professionals in WA Operas performance La Boheme and in multiple public theatre performances with The Midnite Youth Theatre Company where she performed as a lead role in Kate Mulvaney’s “Masquerade”.
Masquerade gave Allegra great creative opportunities including writing multiple original musical score for the narrative. She was nominated for a LEO award for this role, an award she won the previous year for her role as “99” in the comedy “Get Smart”. Two weeks before performance the second “99” left unexpectedly and Allegra unfazed and eager learnt the second half of the play.
Allegra has sung as a soloist for WA Massed Choir and obtained 1st place in the North of Perth Music Festival every year, this year for her performance of “pulled” composed by Andrew Lippa in Music Theatre under 16. She further went on to also receive the Junior Encouragement Award.
Juggling at least three theatre productions a year, classical voice lessons with Mrs Terry Burridge and Dance lessons at Silhouette dance studio as well as drama lessons (Achieveing 97% for her “Hoods’ scripted performance and an overall A+ grade) and singing two solo performances in St Georges Cathedral Allegra has been commended for her Musicality and Tenacity as well as being a polite well-liked leader who brings out the best in others.
Allegra is continuing to develop her talent through further drama studies and is preparing for many upcoming auditions. Allegra is motivated and focused to make a career out of doing what she loves via professional acting.
