A specialist in motion capture, fight performance and movement, Lyndall is a dynamic, physical actress with a career spanning 11 years in London and 2 years in Australia.
Lyndall trained at London’s ArtsEd School of Acting, going on to graduate in 2006 with a Master of Arts (Acting). From her early years as a professional actor in the U.K., she continually trained in dramatic combat and movement, including aerial/wire-work performance, and became a certified teacher of dramatic combat and Fight Director in 2011. With a background in martial arts, dance, gymnastics and high-level sports, Lyndall also headed the Action performance team of London-based company Rc-Annie Ltd.
From 2013 Lyndall has been working in Performance Capture and Motion Capture, and regularly engages in new research and development in ‘mocap’ performance with the University of Portsmouth (U.K.) and Deakin Motion.Lab. She is a ‘creature’ specialist, and teaches and directs movement and dramatic combat at the Victorian College of the Arts, and with companies such as the Melbourne Theatre Company and Melbourne Opera. Lyndall’s range also encompasses ‘traditional’ acting roles for stage and screen, which have varied from Shakespeare (at London’s St. James Theatre Studio and the Rose Playhouse London), to street theatre, to new-writing and contemporary works. She also strongly delivers ‘professional’ roles, having worked as a Veterinarian for 12 years.
Lyndall is an experienced, open and versatile actress, with the ability to inject physical work and imaginative worlds to each of her roles.
