Fiona's love of the performing arts began during her high school years where she was involved in both drama and film production. At age 14, Fiona was awarded best short film at the Panasonic Film Festival. She then studied acting at The Australian Academy of Dramatic Art, and then gained a Diploma of theatre performance at the Sydney Theatre School.
Fiona has always been a part of various community and professional theatres, and her passion for walking the boards has led her to be cast in many roles. Her acting career in television, commercials and film has been beautifully complimented by her extremely fortunate career in the film industry in production, film logistics and PA roles, which has enabled Fiona to work closely with the likes of Baz Luhrmann on The Great Gatsby, and Ridley Scott on Alien: Covenant, just to name a few.
Fiona has found her own niche, and often finds herself cast in her favourite cop roles and more masculine tomboy or lesbian characters, for which she has definitely and brazenly branded herself. Her role as Sergeant Kemp, played alongside Jess Mauboy in the Secret Daughter was certainly a performance that displayed Fiona's strong and very natural ability.
With her swag of acting, film industry and life experience, Fiona brings a delightfully colourful charisma, presence and truth, ready to optimise the moment for screen and stage.
