Amanda’s passion and determination as an actor started from a young age. Raised in a hard working, Greek speaking household that was constantly filled with stories (both village and ancient legends). It seemed the impact would be inevitable.
Her training started in high school where a simple drama class catapulted her into the world of acting. Just like a whetstone is to a blade, Amanda decided to sharpen her passion of action by completing an Advanced Diploma in Stage & Screen Acting at the Academy of Film, Theatre and Television. Whilst there, she delved into a wide range of styles, from Shakespeare to American contemporary theatre and many in between for the public to enjoy. In between productions, she was introduced screen acting and networking with actors and casting directors in that niche. The Academy taught her the skills of being versatile and the importance of endurance as she was handed the challenge of holding stage presence as she clocked up to size characters in a single performance.
Amanda has a strong passion for combat and history that build on the art of story telling. Amanda prides herself on being quick witted, bold and fun while working, whether it’s film or theatre.
