MELODY ROMMelody has worked as a professional actor/model from the age of seven and is building credits for both stage and screen. Melody displays true professionalism in front of the camera, on set or stage and takes direction in her stride and has been praised for her uncanny ability to learn and retain scripts with ease and is often asked to help mentor the younger actors. Recently she had a part as a featured extra in the Robert Connolly film Paper Planes and played a challenging feature role in the short film Absolution. Melody has received many awards but the highlight is having been accepted into the drama program at John Curtin College of the Arts after taking on the competitive testing and auditioning process. Melody hones her craft through regular acting, modelling, dance and voice classes with a view to furthering her career. She is proficient in American Standard and English accents and is working on polishing her Tagalog accent with the help of her Filipino father. She is an International Elite cheer & dance athlete, jewellery designer, plays piano, sings and loves performing with her band Generation V. A self-confessed obsession with make-up and a talent working with video, Melody has started her own beauty vlog. Melody currently holds Australian and Canadian passports but also has strong ties in the Philippines and is ready to perform and is represented by Now Actors in Perth, Western Australia.
