Currently studying the Diploma of Acting course at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), Indiana is a versatile young actress and a keen observer of human behavior. Good at accents, widely travelled, she has spent time in China and Europe, lived in Japan, Scotland, and Australia. During her time in Scotland, Indiana was able to train with esteemed acting coach Mark Westbrook (Acting Coach Scotland) in a series of one on one lessons. Although her training background is largely focused on theatre, Indiana has also been selected for FTI screen acting workshops with actress Emma Booth and Annie Murtagh-Monks, and is excited to break in to acting for film. Having had Speech and Drama lessons with Expression Drama Studio since 2006, Indiana has won multiple awards at the annual AMEB competitions, achieved her Performers’ diploma from Trinity College London, and achieved her Grade 7 exam (98%) which earned her an exhibition award for one of the highest marks in the country. Her acting resume boasts a wide range of versatile and exciting characters; She played various extra roles in Ben Elton’s new film, ‘Three Summers’, as well as the lead role of Elizabeth Bennet in MLC’s production of ‘Pride and Prejudice’ (2014), Cogsworth from ‘Beauty & the Beast’ (2015), a female Demetrius in ‘A Midsummer Nights’ Dream,’ (2016, Curtin University), playing multiple characters in WAAPA’s ‘Love and Information’ (2017) and many more.
