Matthew Richard WalshSince embarking upon an acting career in his teens and completing his training at The National Theatre and Swinburne’s CPA, Matthew Richard Walsh has developed a reputation as a performer who is prepared to push boundaries and take risks within a contextual framework. As the Review Co-ordinator for Arts Hub he created a network of writers whose mission was to promote theatre, art and film to the Australian public. He has appeared in numerous pilots for television series and films as well as in commercials, documentaries and training videos. Matthew has performed in children’s theatre including three pantomimes for Adelphi theatre. In 2007 he founded the Melbourne based theatre company Cracked Actors and starred in the company’s production of "Waiting For Godot". During a stint on the comedy circuit he played the lead in the musical parody "Ben Cousins – A Rock Opera", which featured in Comedy Festivals across the country. He has performed in numerous Fly On The Wall Theatre productions and Play Readings such as "Hello – Last Page of My Life", "The Singing Forest", "Taken" and "All That I Will Ever Be". Matthew has also performed in several Shakespearean productions and is constantly striving for excellence and consistency in his performances.
