Jonathan has had an interest in theatre from a very young age. His self written monologue Apparently I've Committed a Horrendous Crime, was selected to be performed at the Seymour Centre in Sydney, a showcase of the highest ranking HSC performances of 2009. Since then Jonathan has completed a bachelor of performing arts at Monash University and performed in a variety of pieces throughout Melbourne. Some notable productions include Romeo and Juliet, directed by Mark Wilson, where Jonathan won Best Male Performance of 2013, for his portrayal of Mercutio. And more recently Jonathan's debut portrayal of boylesque alter ego Nigella Crumb, at the 2015 What a Drag Variety Night. As of late, Jonathan has been pursuing film and television, performing in 10 short films in 2015, most notably Cowboy Rabbit, directed by VCA masters student Andrew Finlay, and Dump safely, an educational training video produced by Dynamic Conversations.
